Samsung Gear VR is a virtual reality headset manufactured by Samsung in partnership with Oculus, the company that specializes in making VR headset like the Oculus Rift. We are very sure that Samsung is now prepared to launch a consumer-ready Gear VR, and what makes our suspicion even more possible is the latest announcement Smart Communications Inc posted on their Facebook page a couple of days back.
As you can see in the image above, Smart teased us that they are soon to offer the Samsung Gear VR under their postpaid services. We just didn't know if it is going to be a stand-alone product with postpaid offerings or it will be bundled with the latest and seventh-generation Samsung Galaxy S devices. I guess we will have to wait until Samsung formally announces the device before we can hear additional information from Smart about this Gear VR thing.
