Smart to Offer Free Pokemon Go Access for 7 Days
The local communications giant, Smart, has just officially announced that their Smart and TNT users will be able to take advantage of their early Pokemon Go launch promo. Whether subscribers are Android or iOS device users, as long as they are on Smart network, they will have the same free offer.
According to the company, once the Pokemon Go mobile game is released in the Philippines all of their subscribers will have free data access for Pokemon Go game for seven days. Free access for 7 days, which means you won't need to load up and register for data prepaid bundles. Just turn on your Smart mobile internet connectivity and fire up the Pokemon Go app and you're good to go.
Pokemon Go is a mobile game that uses augmented reality and geolocations technology via GPS to be played, and players will have to be connected to the internet to fully enjoy the game like catching Pokemon in real places nearby, even fighting other Pokemon out there and take over gyms, and of course power up and evolve the pocket monsters they have captured.
Right now, the Philippines is still in the waiting game for this Pokemon Go and no one knows yet as to when it will be rolled here locally. But hearing news like this from telco companies such as Smart is giving us more hope and more assurance that the game will really arrive in the future.
