Up Dharma Down's version of the song "Tao" has won as "The Best Festival Original Theme Song" for Honor Thy Father at the recent Metro Manila Film Festival awards night. This is such a good song that was first popularized by Sampaguita.
A couple of days back Armi Millare of Up Dharma Down posted a video on her Facebook page showing her covering the said song with Honor Thy Father main actor John Lioyd Cruz playing the guitar on a couch. Watch it below.

Honor Thy Father is director Erik Matti's entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival. It has become one of the most talked about and controversial movies in the social media and news sites in the country after the organizers of MMFF had decided to disqualify this movie from the Best Picture category.
Although I have not seen the movie yet (but I plan to watch it this week), many of my Facebook friends have posted that this is really a very good movie that deserves audience and recognitions.
