An Ex-Starbucks Employee Reacts to the "Mouse in a Coffee" Issue


Over the past few days, social media sites like Facebook and Twitter as well as big TV news outlet have been talking about this latest scandal that one of the Starbucks customers is claiming. A certain Jessica Underwent, the customer, claimed to have found a little dead mouse in her Starbucks coffee after consuming about half of the content.

Additional reports on ABS-CBN website said that medical tests done on Jessica show that she is indeed now showing symptoms of "acute gastroenteritis and leptospirosis, a disease that is contracted from rats".

While the complainant is currently under observation and the whole controversy is still hot, a former Starbucks employee by the name of Marco Carlo Calibara said he used to work for Starbucks for three years and released his statement defending the famous coffee shop, below is what he said.
