Join Power Mac Center's Cinemansanas and Tell a Story through Apple Devices


The Philippines' Apple-authorized retail store Power Mac Center has recently launched its Cinemansanas short film making contest. PMC is known for selling Apple devices like iPhones and iPads, they are one of the most go-to stores for buying off-contract and unlocked iOS smart devices in the country. This being said, PMC's Cinemansanas competition invites professional and amateur film makers to join this advocacy, film and edit their entries using Apple devices.

Part of this campaign by Power Mac Center is to inspire and recognize more artists to break the standards of the art scene. Additionally, it is celebrated with series of workshops, live demos and an ultimate art challenge. These workshops will be led by famous individuals in the local film and arts industry such as Erik Matti, Yam Laranas, Ricky Lee, Mario Cornejo, Monster Jimenez and many more, where they will be talking about directing, cinematography, script writing and film production. The Cinemansanas competition will be divided into two categories, Student Category which is open to all enrolled high school and college or university students, and the Professional Category for local residents. Finalists from these categories will be able to win the People's Choice Award.

Power Mac Center aims to honor the brightest and best local talents in contemporary creativity further by participating at the Adobo Design Awards Asia (ADAA) Open/Theme category: Digital Short Film. Entries for the Student category are automatically eligible to win the much coveted ADAA Award, now entries under the Professional category can also join by just paying a nominal fee of Php500.

Student Category Diamond Award winner will be able to take home Php30,000 worth of Power Mac Center gift certificate while Professional Category Diamond Award winner brings home Php50,000 worth of PMC GC. Of course the runners-up from these categories will also receive special gift cards from Power Mac Center.
